Teresa Stratton Fountain Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Teresa Stratton Fountain (Jackson, Mississippi), who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Teresa Stratton may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Stratton and Raymond Stratton; and her son Cleaveland Fountain. She is survived by: her children, Claire Fountain and Chandler Fountain (Yoojin Lee); and her siblings, Sharron Dobbins (Gaines Dobbins), Kris Mahaffey (Mike Mahaffey) and Lee Stratton (Janet Stratton). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ United (6000 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS 39211). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
