He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Magee and Eloise Ball Magee; his siblings, Dorothy Sandifer and Jim Magee; and his brothers-in-law, A. C. Lewis and Oliver Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Mitchell Magee (Teresa), Katherine Tatum and Sharron Flowers (Russell); his grandchildren, Jarrett Flowers (Carrie), Dustin Magee (Meagan), Gavin Flowers and Lindsey Stubbs (Julian); his great grandchildren, Logan Flowers, Jack Magee and Leighton Magee; his sisters, Goldie Lewis and Margaret Coleman; and his siblings-in-law, Ella Magee and Charles Sandifer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
