With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sadie Wright of Jackson, Mississippi, born in Aberdeen, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal (Sadie Heard) and Aberdeen. She is survived by: her daughters, Ginny Wright Phillips (Roy) and Olga Wright Griffin (Tom); her grandchildren, Margaret Griffin Murphy (Billy), Lynn Griffin Blake (Matt), Allison Bullock, Andy Phillips (Missy) and Stephen Phillips; her great grandchildren, Will Murphy, Molly Murphy, Griffin Murphy, Thomas Blake and Morgan Phillips; her sister Kate Heard Daniel; and her daughter Gail Mateer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials in remembrance of Sadie may be made to French Camp Academy or Christ United Church.
