He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mears; his children, Bill Mears, Steve Mears (Lizzie) and Laura Smith (Aaron); his grandchildren, Hannah Claire Smith, Laura Beth Mears, Zane Smith, Julie Ann Mears and Mary Grace Mears; and his siblings, Brenda Smith (Ron) and Robert Mears.
