He is survived by: his wife Margaret L. Dykes of Pearl; his children, Darlene Dykes Sistrunk (Dale) of Pearl, Marty L. Dykes (Sheila) of Brandon and Andy E. Dykes (Michelle) of Byram; his grandchildren, April L. Dykes, Brittany Blanton, Blake Beane, Clint Sistrunk, Hunter Sistrunk, Carson Sistrunk, Savannah Hicks and Reggie Dykes; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Orr, Sully Blanton, Memphis Hicks and Senorah Hicks.
