Laneeta Roberts Cruthirds Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laneeta Roberts Cruthirds of Jackson, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Erie, Sr.; her daughter Shari; her parents, Wallace Roberts and Alice Roberts; her siblings, Irene Delancey, Margaretann Klaver and Douglas "Curly" Roberts; her great grandchild Jasmine Cruthirds; her uncle Klight Roberts; and her adoptive parents, Lona Fay Lamey, Chris Sims, Allen and Roseanna Henderson.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Buckheister, Eileen Stevenson, Glennis Crowell (Bob), Erie II, Tony Cruthirds (Darlene), Ralph Cruthirds (Lisa) and Kendall Cruthirds (Cindy); her grandchildren, Nancy Buckheister, Angie Toncrey (Ronnie), Steven Cruthirds, Stephanie Cruthirds, Aden Cruthirds (Savannah), Nicholas Cruthirds (Haley), Cameron Poulos (Brittany), Sean Crowell, Kayla Marodis (Jeff), Lilly Baumann (Jeremy) and J. R. Cruthirds; and her sisters, Roberta DuBose of Grand Junction, CO. and Maureen Davis of College Station, TX.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home - West Jackson (13872 Lemoyne Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39532). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Erie Cruthirds Family Cemetery (14900 Jim Ramsay Rd, Vancleave, MS 39565).
