He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. L. Gilbert and Etherlen Beamon-Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (3580 Robinson St, Jackson, MS 39209). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Autumn Woods Memorial Gardens (4000 W Northside Dr, Jackson, MS 39209).
