Helen left this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjaman Singletary and Rachel Singletary (Griffin); her husbands, Joseph Brown and Jimmie Bernard Brinson; and her siblings, Janie Singletary-Hodges and Brutus Singletary.
She is survived by: her children, Delinsa Maiden (Reginald) and Ursula Ray (Cedric); her grandchildren, Leah, Eve, Regina, Reanna, Delana, Reginald II, Basie, Trinity and Mikai; her great grandchildren, Lauren and Lyra; and also Jimmie Brinson (Pastor Anita). She is also survived by her family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (3580 Robinson St, Jackson, MS 39209). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cade Chapel M. B. Church (1000 W Ridgeway St, Jackson, MS 39213). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery (11020 Springridge Rd, Terry, MS 39170).
