It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Olinger of Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on March 5, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward and Flora Gladys Hoke Powell. She is survived by: her children, Edwin (Toni Yates) and Regina (Greg "Bubba" Simmons); and her sister Gloria Powell Myers. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 2 nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
