Dannie Lee Hooker was born on May 2, 1930 and departed his earthly life on February 18, 2017 at his residence in Hattiesburg, MS.
He was a member of the United States Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged in 1954. He was a retired employee of University of Southern Mississippi and DJ Shuttle Service.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 70 years, Queen Esther Hooker; one sister: Hazel Davis of New Orleans, LA, five amazing children: Brenda Harrell, Robert Clint Hooker and Sabrena Hooker, all of Hattiesburg, MS. Dannie Hooker of San Bernadino, CA and Lykinda Thibodeaux of Mandeville, LA. 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
