He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Dozier Mcphail; his parents, Allen Mcphail Sr. and Janey Scott Mcphail; his sisters, Ruth Steffey and Ruby Henderson; and his great grandchild Cody Allen Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Phillis Dunn (Jimmy) and Donna Ware (Rodger); his grandchildren, Kim Reynolds, Brandy Abernathy, Shelley Ratcliff, Phillip Dunn and Lee Norris; and his great grandchildren, Noah Reynolds, Conner Abernathy, Kylie Reynolds and Kristen Johnson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209).
