He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Helen Smith; and his siblings, Joanne Smith Shelton, Martha Smith Minix, Norma Smith Everett, Babe Aumiller and Clarence "Sonny" Smith Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mona Lorine Smith; his children, William "Billy" Henry Smith Jr. (Cindy), Jen Jen Thompson (Jimmy) and Barbara Smith; his siblings, John Smith (Barbara) and Mary Reynolds (Joe); his sister-in-law Margie Spires (Dan); and his nieces and nephews, Tommy, Tammy Shelton, Dustin, Jen Spires, Nicole and Jose Saledo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
