He was predeceased by: his parents, Eston Knowles and Lora Louise Holloway Knowles; and his children, Renee Knowles and Edward Ray Knowles (Sandra). He is survived by: his children, Robert W. Knowles (Danielle), Anthony James Knowles and Tina Marie Osorio (Ed); and his sister Patricia Hoover (James). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
