She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Monroe and Junie Monroe; her siblings, Harold Monroe (JoNell), Doris Miller (Gene) and Martha Haney (Charles); her son Douglas A. Day; and her great grandchild Joseph Gabriel Young.
She is survived by: her children, David L. Day (Gwen) and Linda C. Thoren (Craig); her siblings, Jimmy Monroe (Joan) and Jeanette Wilburn (late AJ); her grandchildren, Scotty Young (Rachel), Jermiah Partee (Linsey), Jamie Day (Sandy), Carrie Seahorn (Chris), Michael Day (Whitney), Casey Thoren (Karli) and Errin Day (Ashley); and her daughter-in-law Stacy Day. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
