He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Nunley; his sons, Merle Helton (Cathy Boothe Helton), Doug Helton (Kathy Carr Helton) and Stanley Helton; his brother Joe Nunley (Debra); his grandchildren, Beth Helton White (Lane), Dr. Ashley Helton and Jared Helton (Ashley McCay Helton); and his great grandchildren, Haley, Emma White, Willow and Everett Helton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to the New Prospect Cemetery Fund, or a church or charity of the donors choice.
