Jimmy Leon Gearren Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy Leon Gearren of Iuka, Mississippi, born in Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 69. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jimmy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jimmy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gearren and Thelma Gearren; and his brother Ronald Gearren. He is survived by: his wife Libby Gearren; his daughter Jamie Carver (Ben); and his grandchildren, Hayes Carver and Delta Kayte Carver of Starkville, MS. He is also survived by three nephews, and a host of other loved family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (3189 N Harper Rd, Corinth, MS 38834). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your local food bank.
