He was predeceased by: his daughter Hayley McVay Franks; his parents, Johnny McVay and Gladys McVay; his brother Danny McVay; and his parents-in-law, Johnny and Daisy Biggs.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte McVay; his daughter Brandy Dodd (Chris); his grandchildren, John Kurtis Franks, Leigha Brown and Charlotte Dodd; his great grandchild Ashtyn; his sister Wanda Sanderson (Larry); his niece Kayla Robinson (Luke); and his nephew Eric Harris (Marlena). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or an organization supporting Autism.
