He was predeceased by: his sons, Rodney Lanier and Ryan Lanier. He is survived by: his wife Grace Lanier; and his children, Russell Lanier, Randall Lanier, Rocky Lanier, Jackie Reeves, Mitchell Scott, Gracie Lanier and Ginger Crampton (Jason). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
