She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Eugene and Floy Lillian Paden Edmondson; her son Sammy South; and her brothers, Autrey Edmondson (Nita) and Floyd Lee Edmondson.
She is survived by: her husband Noel C. "Red" South; her daughter Nancy Stripling (Bobby); her grandchildren, Evan Stripling, Ethan Stripling and Heather Marks (Doug); her great grandchildren, Noah Marks, Peyton Marks and Levi Marks; and her friends, William, Mary Baldwin, Mark, Katye Baldwin, Kenlee and Emma Baldwin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Mrs. Janice's honor to the Iuka Baptist Church Vacation Bible School Fund, to the Iuka Youth Athletic League, or to the Tishomingo County Braves Basketball program.
