She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Joe and Janice McDermott Pruitt; her son Charles Joseph Jones; her grandparents, Oscar C., Carlyn Williams Pruitt (Iuka), Ivanhoe Dorn and Blanche Harrington McDermott of Blytheville, AR; and her siblings, Michael Pruitt and Beth Pruitt Deatherage.
She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Jones, Sr. of Iuka; her children, Jan Young of Corinth and Chuck Jones (Tracie); her grandchildren, Miles Young, Bailee Jones Pruitt (Jake) and Chase Jones; her great grandchild Avery Kate Pruitt; and her close friend Londee Kent of Iuka. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
To honor her memory, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association or the Tishomingo County Archives & History Museum.
