He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dexter and Lorene Dexter; his siblings, William Dexter, G. Dexter, Aline Thorne, Travis Dexter, Kenneth Dexter, Richard Dexter, Jerry Dexter and Linda Sue Reeves; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Bryant (Burnette) and Peggy Bryant Dexter; and his son-in-law Scott Ellexson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bryant Dexter; his children, DeeAnna Davis (Brad), Robert J. Dexter (Zelda) and Darren S. Dexter (Deidre); his grandchildren, Dexter Ellexson (Ashley), Max Ellexson, Devin Beam (Bill), Collin Dexter, Dylan Dexter and Dani Lee Dexter; his great grandchildren, Heidi, Wells and Garrett; and his sister Clara Berryman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutshall Funeral Home (302 N Pearl St, Iuka, MS 38852). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel (302 N Pearl St, Iuka, MS 38852).
