He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Deaton; his children, Deborah Thorne (Steve), Dianne Henson (Nickey), Jessica Daily (Chris), Kristie Sowards and Kim Amerson; his grandchildren, Cassie Pharr (Ben), Andrew Thorne (Laura), Chasidy Byrd (Zac), Mandi Henson, Adam Henson (Maddie), Natalie Storment, Baylor Storment, Xzaviar Dailey, Kingston Dailey, Tyler Cavness (Ashley), Daniel Sowards, Kellie Burks (BJ), Dylan Amerson (McKenna), Colten Epperson, Jeremy Amerson (Zoei) and Caden Ham; his siblings, Ed Deaton (Helen), Donald Deaton (Brenda), Lester Deaton (Derissa) and Linda Holland (June); his friends, Lanny Ham and Clay Mullins; and his pets, Rudy, Peanut, Buddy, Niki and Miss Kitty. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
