He is survived by: his close friend Lynda Hall Taylor; his children, Misty Black Stokes (Jason) and Brian Black (Jessica); his grandchildren, Miranda Parsons, Dakota Whirley (Lindsay), Warren Fletcher and Ellick Saulk; his great grandchildren, Caleb Marley, Eden Whirley, Athena Osorio and Ashton Osorio; and his siblings, Joann Black Lovelace (Eugene), Wanda Black King (Jackie), William Black (Gwen) and Jimmy Black (Annette). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
