He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannie Turney Morris; his parents, Herman Morris and Helen Holt Morris; his brothers, Jack Morris and Larry Morris; his half-brother R. J. Carroll; and his grandson Derek Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Wright and Dustin Morris (Pazlee); his sister Lisa Wyatt (Roy) of Iuka; his grandchildren, Kylie Wright, Emerson Morris, Freya Morris, Preston Wright and Gryffin Morris; and his pet Diesel.
