She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Hardwick; her parents, Eugene Puckett and Linnie Mae Ham Puckett; her siblings, Evateen Brumley and Winford Puckett; her granddaughter Tina Hardwick; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Hardwick.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hardwick Whitaker, Charles Hardwick, Larry Hardwick and Randy Hardwick (Janice); her grandchildren, Carey Valderrama (Ron), Jonathan Hardwick, Jeremy Hardwick (Natalie), Justin Hardwick, Katelyn Hardwick, Jordan Hardwick, Tiffany Hardwick, Candy Kelly (Mike), Jason Price and Daniel Sowards; and her nieces, Genice Jones (Lester), Brenda Holt (Mike), Sandra Cain (John) and Lisa Johnson (Tim). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations be made in Mrs. Ernesteen's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
