She is survived by: her children, Robert "Buddy" Akers, Mark Akers (Amy) and Stephanie Barnett (Tommy); her son-in-law Carl Booker; her siblings, David "Bootie" Curtis and Martha Gist of Iuka; and her grandchildren, Brad Booker, Chaz Akers (Jill), Kristin Johnson (Dewey), Brianna Campbell (Mitch), Allie Barnett, Amanda Akers, Emily Mitchell and Daleanna Akers. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
