He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Nunley and Dona Nunley; his siblings, Dolen C Nunley, Dexter Nunley and Frances Olen Nunley; and his great grandchild Jason Nunley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nunley; and his children, Dolen Nunley (Kandie), Russell Nunley Jr. (Peggy), Kenneth Ivy (Marsha), Steven Ivy (Kathy), Theresa Ivy and Regina Ivy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
