She was predeceased by: her husband J. L. "Jim" Garrett; her parents, Oren Hansel and Dramer Williams Russell; and her siblings, Bobby Russell and Gail Russell.
She is survived by: her children, James Garrett (Tricia), Charles Garrett, Bill Garrett and Doris Johnson; her siblings, Lydia Linton (Jerry), Bertha Davis (Mike) and Ernie Russell (Jane); her grandchildren, Conner Garrett and Jill Clark (Bob); and her great grandchildren, Paul Malito and Colt Clark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
