She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Ruby Blackard Milligan; her former husband Libern Akers; her husband Charles Lewis; and her son-in-law James Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia Hudson (Barney), Jeffrey Lewis (Stephen) and Joel Lewis (Monica); her sister Dot Hannon; her grandchildren, Leah Hanks (Ken), Samantha Lewis, Madeleine Lewis, Adrienne Lewis, Jackson Lewis, Andrew Lewis and Charles W. Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Alex Hanks and Noah Hanks.
Donations may be made in Mrs. Billie Kathryn's honor to the Iuka Baptist Church or to the Food Depot.
