She was predeceased by: her husband Lyman Hester; and her parents, Christine Dempsey and Johnny Dempsey. She is survived by: her son Gary Lynn Hester; her daughter-in-law Alicia Hester; her pet Molly; and her close friend Hubert Jourdan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Billy Jean's honor to the charity of donor's choice.
