It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Harris Jourdan of Iuka, Mississippi, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Belle and Lamar Harris; her husband D. O. "Oley" Jourdan, Jr.; and her brother Charles Harris. She is survived by: her children, D. O. Jourdan III (Bubba) of Iuka, MS and Jane Rhea of Iuka, MS; her grandchildren, Mollie Seymour (Dixon) of Birmingham, AL, David Jourdan, Katie Rose Jourdan of Iuka, MS, Bo Rhea (Rebecca), Jourdan Rhea (Carey) of LaGrange, TN and Harris Rhea (Kathryn) of Tupelo, MS.; and her great grandchildren, Aliene, John Seymour, Ellie, Lucy, Bo Rhea, Olen, Mary Alice Rhea, Clayton, Charles and Keller Rhea.
