It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Larry Beavers Sr. of Itta Bena, Mississippi, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leroy Beavers and Armettie Beatrice Butler Beavers; his siblings, Frances Beavers Todd (Thomas "Fuzzy" Todd) and Hiram Leroy "Pete" Beavers; and his granddaughter Paisley Tull.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Joyce Scallion; his sisters, Louise Overly (Lloyd) of Greenwood and Lynn Chatham (Joey) of Dixie Inn, Louisiana; his children, Delores Beavers Tull (Tim) of Fulton, Thomas Beavers (Lisa) of Carrollton and Wayne Beavers of Grenada; his grandchildren, Brent Tull (Megan), Kacy Beavers (Hannah), Cody Beavers, Jessica Tull and Candace Beavers; and his great grandchildren, Cohan Tucker, Kamden Tull, Tinsley Beavers and Cayne Cortez.
Military Honors will be performed by American Legion Post # 29, Memorials may be made to NMMC Home Health and Hospice, 424 East President, Tupelo, MS 38801.
