With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Upchurch Sr. (Itta Bena, Mississippi), who passed away on September 3, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pearl and Callie Peacock Upchurch; his wife Annie Sue Hightower Upchurch; his siblings, Bill Upchurch and Ann Upchurch Booth; his granddaughter Jamie Claire Smith; his children-in-law, Dean Smith and Kim Upchurch; and his nephew Reed Pickering.
He is survived by: his children, Chip Upchurch (Sarah), Melanie Upchurch Smith and Chuck Upchurch (Betsy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In their retirement years, Glenn and Annie Sue joined Hill View Baptist Church and so, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorials be made to the Hill View Baptist Church Building Fund at 23919 Hwy 430 S, Greenwood, MS 38930.
