She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Hart Tirey; her parents, Florence Earnest Henley and Thomas Jefferson Earnest; and her siblings, Jay Hugh Henley and Jo Earnest Hoke.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Duhon (Charles) of Tulsa, Okla, Henry Tirey (Anne) of Isola and Olive Kitchens (Don) of Taylor; her grandchildren, Eric Tirey (Ann Carol), Olivia Borgos (Josiah), Stuart Tirey (Savannah), Preston Crotwell (Olivia), Zeke Duhon and Tyler Crotwell; and her great grandchildren, Grant, Aust Minor, Eleanor and Shepherd.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burton Funeral Home (634 US-82, Indianola, MS 38751). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Indianola City Cemetery (851 Main St, Indianola, MS 38751).
