It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margarett McDaniel of Isola, Mississippi, born in Carrollton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bates and Lucille Carpenter Bates; her husband Julius "Mac" McDaniel; her siblings, Carline Bell, Frances Evans, Beulah Dodd, Grace Paxton, Bobby Gene Bates and Carl Hayden Bates; her nephew Chuck Evans; and her nieces, Sandy Steele and Diane Paxton McCool.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Bill Dodd (Celia), Bobbie Gail Bowen (Danny), Debbie Gewin, Elaine Robinson (Marty), Scotty Evans (Laurie), Jim Paxton (Anita), Anne Gratz (Brett) and Beverly Quinn (Jim).
