It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lauris Edwin Shelton of Isola, Mississippi, born in Charleston, Mississippi, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John T. Shelton Sr. and Sarah Hays Shelton; his pet Twink; and his siblings, Velmarie Burton (Greg), John Shelton (Marilyn), Walter Shelton (Beverly) and Joe Shelton (Barbara). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
