She was predeceased by: her parents, Speedy Tharp and Maude Duke Tharp; her husband Don Scott; and her brothers, Thomas Tharp, Gaylon Tharp, Billy Don Tharp and Jimmy Tharp.
She is survived by: her son Barry Scott of Dallas, Texas; her grandson Jason Scott of Hattiesburg; her great grandchild Reno Scott of Petal; and her sister-in-law Lois Tharp of Isola.
