With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Smithhart Bennett of Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Evelyn Pickett Smithhart; her husband John Robert Bennett, Jr.; and her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Smithhart, Richard Smithhart and Leroy Smithhart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Lott (Terry) of Indianola and Karen Ware (Bill) of Indianola; her siblings, John Smithhart of Columbus, Tommy Smithhart of Inverness and Eddie Burrus of Indianola; her grandchildren, Brandon Lott, Lauren Maddox, Lacy Bruton, Lindsey Smith and Tori Bush; and her great grandchildren, Mallie Bruton, Anders Bruton, Helms Humbarger, Karlee Lott, James Maddox, Caroline Lott, Mary Meeks Smith and Grace Maddox.
