With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tony Lamar Roughton of Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on May 2, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wilburn and Willie Bessie Rainey Roughton; and his siblings, Earnest Roughton (Johnny), Bob Roughton (Kay), James Roughton (Edith) and Betty Roughton Williams (Pete).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn McDade Roughton of Indianola; his children, Jennifer Schaumburg of Indianola and Kevin Owen Roughton (Deanna) of Saco, Maine; his grandchildren, Izabela Roughton of Saco, Sage Schaumburg of Indianola, Prescott Schaumburg of Indianola and Carter Roughton of Saco, Maine; and his sister-in-law Wanda Adams (Larry) of Birmingham. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends he loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
