She was predeceased by: her parents, Farrell Duncan and J. E. Duncan; her husband Thomas Sanders; her sons, Richard and Scooter Sanders; and her grandson David Sanders.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Sanders, Jr. (Barbara) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Farrell Sanders Dowling (Wesley) of Marietta, Carrie Sanders Janous (Jay) of Leland, Tom Sanders, III (Jennifer) of Dallas, Anna Duncan Sanders of Phoenix, Mary Allison Ray (Jaimie) of Pass Christian and Liza Sanders of Jackson. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
