She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oscar "Jim" Johnson, Sr. and Mary Magdeline Day Johnson; and her husbands, Larry Jenkins and Jackie Steed. She is survived by: her pet George Richard Hodge; her sons, Jeffery Eugene Myers and Christopher Dwight Myers (Suzy); her siblings, James Oscar Johnson, Jr., Kenneth Wayne Johnson (Debra Jane), Nathan Johnson (Donna), Tony Dean Johnson (Lisa), David Leon Johnson (Charlotte), Nancy Johnson Buza (Dennis) and Patsy Johnson Roland (Doc); and her grandchildren, Anna Myers, Andrew Myers, Sara Myers and Grace Myers. She is also survived by children; ten bonus grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burton Funeral Home (634 US-82, Indianola, MS 38751). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
