He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Duncan "Dunk" and Marjorie Fowler Hudson; and his siblings, Carl, Gene, Don, Danny, Willie Mae, Captola, Johnnie Sue and Mary Linda.

He is survived by: his siblings, Patsy Dunahue, Darlene Moore and Travis Hudson of Myrtle; and his sister-in-law Barbara Hudson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
