He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Skelton of Indianola; his sons, John Carl Skelton, III of Indianola and Ryan Austin Skelton of New York, NY; his brother Robert Skelton (Claudette) of Greenville; and his grandson Joshua Peyton Marshall.
