He is survived by: his wife Levetar Sellers Cockrell; his sons, Darrell and Harold Cockrell; his siblings, Billy Ray Cockrell, Charlotte Holloway, Jean Donald and Barbara Amason; his grandchildren, Allevia, Courtney, Jake, Daniel, Hunter Cockrell and Addie Holcomb; and his children-in-law, Richard Carlisle and Michelle Cockrell.
