She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Clifford Watson Sr.; her parents, Allen Mosley and Catherine Mosley; her siblings, Clyde Mosley, Dorethea Burchfield, Allen Wayne Mosley, Joe Mosley and Mary Lee Alkire; her son Robert Roden; and her grandsons, Jonathan Brett Watson and Andrew Roden.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Allen Roden (Linda) and Harvey Clifford Watson Jr.; her sister Ruth Mosley Thompson; and her grandchildren, Russ Roden (Jennifer), Melissa R Hearn (Andrew), Joshua Dylan Watson, Isabella Dennis, Ramey Kent (Amber), Morgan Stokes (Trey), Jeremy Ferris, Xan Haven, Blake Roden (Sarah) and Anne Carol Jones (Ian). She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burton Funeral Home (634 US-82, Indianola, MS 38751). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association in honor of Jean's courageous battle with dementia, reflecting her family's hope to support others facing the same challenge.
