It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Allison of Indianola, Mississippi, born in Itta Bena, Mississippi, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarice Watson Boykin and John E. Boykin; her husband Morris Allison; and her sister Allene Fitts. She is survived by: her children, Clara Allison Bilbo (James) of Madison and Hiram Allison (Sheila) of Inverness; her grandchildren, Rance Bilbo, Drew Bilbo (Amanda), Tyler Bilbo (Beth), DJ Pittman, Wendy Pittman and Misty Miller; and her sister-in-law Myrtle Holloway of Indianola. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Mississippi Delta Community College, Moorhead Methodist Church, or Delta Grace.
