She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Harrison Nixon and Ada Belle Andrews Nixon; her siblings, Ruth Nixon Graham, Ruby Nixon Spencer, Harmon and Herman Nixon; her husband Major Opie Read Little, Jr.; and her stepchildren, Kathy Jo Hutcherson Trippe and James E. Hutcherson III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Little Hill (Joel, Jr.) of Greenville, MS and Helen-Ruth Little Hendon (Joe) of Madison, MS; and her grandchildren, Allison Hill Womble (Allen) of Lafayette, LA, Stacy Hill Harb (Greg) of Knoxville, TN, Joel Hill III (Lara) of Madison, MS, Dr. Read Hendon (Lisa) of Ocean Springs, MS, John Hendon (Vera) of Ellicott City, MD and Dr. Drew Hendon of Jackson, MS. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, five nephews and one niece.
