He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Alice and Louie Whitaker of New Albany; and his sister Lisa Dawn Murihead of Florence. He is survived by: his brother Wesley Tharp (Ann) of New Albany; and his nephews, James Wesley Tharp III (Ashley) of Gibsonton, Louie Andrew Bennett (Kara) of Caledonia and Matthew Zeke Bennett (Tamara) of Brandon.
