He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Wilson and Robert Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Blanton of Independence, MS; his children, Teresa Crockett (Gary) of Coldwater, MS, Laura May (Bob) of Coldwater, MS and John Blanton (Gabriel) of San Diego, CA; and his sister Beverly Wilkes of Southaven, MS. He is also survived by 5 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Shriners Children Hospital.
