He is survived by: his brother James Nixon (Kathy); his son Greg Nixon (Melissa); his grandchildren, Emily and TJ Nixon; and his nephews, Brad Nixon, Jason Holder, Daniel Nixon and Rippley Nixon.
Don had battled through many ailments and failing health in the last eight years of his life dealing with Congestive Heart Failure, Parkinson's, and more recently stage III kidney disease.
